Chalkstone Karate Club has been established since the early 1980's and welcomes prospective students of all ages from 5 years upwards and offers friendly and informal training by some of the most experienced instructors in the area. The club is a member of SAFEchild and has accreditation for the policies and procedures it has in place for the safety and welfare of children.
These include first aid and child protection. Sensei (Senior Instructor), Steve Hart is one of the most experienced instructors in the local area and has been a member of the club since 1987. Steve won his first black belt (shodan) in 1992, he has been teaching ever since and has run the club since 2008.

Services
Proper etiquette is an aspect of karate that is derived from its Japanese heritage and a very important part of your karate training. Members arriving late should take up a kneeling position at the entrance to the dojo and wait for permission to join the class. After receiving permission, they should then bow before joining the class.
