Helen is experienced in providing classes for breakfast & after school clubs as well as corporate and professional sports teams. Yoga is hugely beneficial during and after pregnancy, promoting calmness and giving baby more space to grow, allowing a new mum to recover quicker after labour. Booking is always advisable as classes do fill up.

HD Yoga hosts very special weekend retreats in our stunning Leicestershire location of Waltham-on-the-Wolds. How would you like to get away for a weekend and revitalise yourself with like-minded people in stunning Leicestershire surroundings? Stunning house and views, 10 beautiful rooms, 7 Yoga classes/workshops, delicious Vegan food and gorgeous Ayurvedic treatments.
HD Yoga hosts yoga retreats at a former hunting lodge in Waltham on the Wolds, overlooking stunning Leicestershire Countryside and on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Waltham House was built in 1929 by Toby Greenall, 2nd Baron Daresbury as a hunting lodge, it being situated in the famous Belvoir country.
Our daily schedules have been planned to ensure a perfect balance between active yoga, relaxation, treatments and free time to enjoy the surroundings with your fellow retreaters. There is no pressure to take part in all of the activities, just do as little or as much as you wish. The whole weekend is designed to make sure you feel fully invigorated by the time you leave us.
Where do I begin. I booked onto the retreat quite last minute and on a whim, wanting to take some time out for myself. From the moment I enquired, I was met with a warm, speedy response from Helen and just knew I'd picked a good one.
This was only my second retreat and first in the UK, so I wasn't too sure what to expect, a little apprehensive since I was going on my own and not in any way a Yoga pro! Helen is a fantastic teacher and a wonderful host, she made us all feel welcome and relaxed from day one.Paired with the stunning surroundings and classic luxury of Waltham House, I felt instantly at ease.

So nice to be back tonight at your yoga class Helen. A good mix of continuous stretching and trying to improve strength, balance and coordination. Gently easing us back into it! It felt nice and safe at the venue - plenty of fresh air with the windows open. We all had plenty of space to spread out on our own mats. It's surprising how nice it is to get back exercising in a group again and chat to fellow yogis! Feel free to share this on your page to to encourage others who may be hesitating about coming along. Thanks so much for the Mum and baby class today Helen. It worked really well and felt lovely to take some time for me with baby in tow in a really practical and unpressurised way. There is never a ‘perfect time’ to do these things for yourself with a baby so having a class that accepts the interruptions a baby brings and the flexibility to make it work for you and them was great and made me make time for me. Felt suitably proud of myself and ate cake guilt free as a reward!

I did numerous pregnancy yoga classes with Helen whilst pregnant with my first baby, and have thoroughly enjoyed these. Helen is incredibly engaging and supportive, and just generally a lovely lady. We have also started a Mum and Baby class today (with my 5 1/2 week old) which was fun too. There’s no pressure, and the online classes are great as they enable you to have a recording to redo the class if your little one is not in the mood! ☺️👌 Thank you for all the classes and support Helen!
