Tree of Life Yoga is based on traditional Hatha yoga teachings which have been passed on over hundreds of years by Tibetan Yogis. The traditional approach focuses on the union between body and mind, therefore during the classes, there will be an emphasis on engaging the mind and its attention towards the practice.

The practice will allow your brain to evolve, create new neurological connections and through it change your everyday life behaviors. Developing the physical strength of your body will give you more inner strength; you will get to know your body more and be able to control it, which will give you freedom over very often overwhelming emotional reactions.

I was first introduced to Yoga around 14 years ago at university and after many years of personal practice, I decided to become a teacher. In 2017 I have also qualified as a pregnancy yoga teacher at Yoga Mama in London. The traditional Agama school made me understand Yoga, not only from a practical point of view but also from a strong theoretical perspective.
If you are a beginner there will be enough time for you to ease into an Asana and you will receive personal guidance from me if needed. If you are an advanced student, you will have the time to master an Asana more deeply and focus your mind on the performance. In traditional Yoga, it is very important to perform asanas correctly so you will be receiving personal adjustments as required and as often as needed in my classes.
Would you like to be taught yoga at a time that suits you and in your own home or other suitable location? Individual classes are perfect for those who are not able to come to group classes, want to focus their practice on a particular problem e.g. All asanas have its unique psychological and physical benefits.
We will learn yoga poses and breathing techniques which help to feel at ease with the changing body and deal with the developing emotions; we will build the awareness of the body, mindfulness, and improve abilities to relax that prepare for the special day as well as the motherhood. Pregnancy yoga practice is tailored to help you deal with psychological and physical changes occurring during maternity.
