Your child's key person will be the person who works with you, the parent, to make sure that the childcare we provide is right for your child's particular needs and interests. When your little one first starts preschool their key person will help your child to settle and will continue to help them develop and benefit from the activities on offer.

Teresa has been at The Ark since 2002. Teresa ensures the preschool runs smoothly and manages the team. Teresa is Level 3 qualified. Teresa is also the Special Needs Co-ordinator which enables The Ark to offer places to children with special needs. Teresa is also qualified in Advanced Paediatric First Aid.
Services
All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. This is usually taken as 15 hours each week for 38 weeks of the year. You may also be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare (1,140 hours per year) depending on your circumstances. Some 2-year-olds are also eligible for funding.

My son has been going to The Ark since he was two. The team are fantastic and I feel completely comfortable leaving him in their capable hands. He has grown in confidence and loves playing with the other children. I love that he comes home singing new songs and practising what he's learnt that day. I highly recommend The Ark.
