Through our child-led approach, children are encouraged to take measured risks to aid their development and so nurture their self-esteem and well-being. We want to inspire children to embrace their individuality and grow into well-rounded, confident individuals. Children to grow as individuals whilst having fun, making friends, building trusting relationships within our St Vincent's family, enabling children to feel loved and supported.
Offering appropriate play facilities and training courses together with the right of parents to become involved in such activities, ensuring that such activities offer opportunities for the children within the Parish who will have the first opportunity to subscribe for places and thereafter for all children regardless of race, culture, religion or means.

Services
St. Vincent's Pre-school Playgroup and Out of School Club is run by a voluntary committee made up of school, parish and parent representatives. It opened in 1996 and operates from a new purpose built building set within the grounds of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Primary School in Knutsford. The Pre-school is open each weekday from 09.00 to 11.30 and 12.30 to 15.00 term time only.
Baptised Catholic children, resident in the Parish of St Vincent's with siblings at St Vincent's Primary School or Pre-school at the time of starting at Pre-school - note: a higher priority will be given to those starting St Vincent's Primary School in the next academic year;. A successful pre-school is a combination of skilled and caring people with efficient and effective key policies. We acknowledge that our key policies and procedures are fundamental to ensuring we maintain the highest standards at all times. Children are at the heart of everything we do and for that reason our policies and procedures have to be maintained and measured.
