Acton Bridge Pre School Association provides professional, experienced and affordable childcare for children aged from 2.5 to 5 years old. It's a place where lifelong friendships amongst families are made. We are a rural, community based pre-school which first started in Acton Bridge over 40 years ago.
We are a charity and continue to operate with the support of our dedicated, experienced staff and an extremely enthusiastic committee of parent and community volunteers. Acton Bridge Pre-school continues to this day to provide quality preschool education, relying on the wealth of experience from our dedicated team of staff.

Services
Acton Bridge Pre School's vision is to provide continuous training, observation and evaluation enabling Early Years Practitioners, parents and Multi Disciplinary Professionals to work together to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage to the children attending Acton Bridge Pre School. The Pre School strives to enhance the children's holistic development through child-led play in an inclusive, safe, secure and yet safe environment.
Your Early Years Education funding can be used at Acton Bridge Pre School or you can pay for sessions at the rate of 12 per 3 hour session. Please can we remind all parents and carers that children should stay at home when ill, and in the case of sickness or diarrhoea they should not return to pre-school or attend toddler group for a full 48 hours after their last symptoms.
Along side the pre-school we also run a lovely toddler group for under 5's! Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent, childminder or carer you will be made to feel very welcome! We have many families from Acton Bridge as well as the surrounding villages who come along for a chat and a cuppa while the little ones explore our fantastic range of toys and activities!

I would happily recommend Acton Bridge Pre School to anyone considering child care in the area. My son has attended since he was 2.5 and thoroughly enjoys his time there and the activities that he gets involved in. The staff are very conscientious and the children are looked after to a very high standard. The staff to child ratio is fantastic, with the children getting lots of quality attention. There is plenty of outdoor time alongside the indoor activities the children love doing. Acton Bridge has provided an excellent foundation for school learning, and I am sure it will make the transition
