We are an Approved Provider for the Government's 15 hours and 30 hours free childcare initiative. We provide childcare services in a safe, secure and happy environment, allowing your child to grow and develop. I have never had a days worry leaving my son in your care, he really enjoys going and I really get the feeling the staff love having him there.
I have recommended you to friends and any future children I may go onto have I would really like them to attend.

Services
Our childcare staff members are chosen not only for their qualifications but also for their experience in, and approach to, childcare. Each pre-school is managed by a highly qualified manager and supported by an experienced deputy. Each member of staff is chosen for their empathy and ability to treat each child as an individual.
We provide nursery care for children aged from 3 months to two years in each of our three nurseries: Gatley, Hale and Whalley Range. We are focused on providing high quality care in a safe, secure and happy environment - a home-from-home. We stimulate our children with a range of activities throughout the day, enabling our children to flourish.
Our day in the Nursery is structured, providing the children with the security that comes with the routine, whilst providing them with varied, interesting and stimulating activities. Our approach throughout the day is positivity - all of our team members encourage a 'can-do' attitude. 10.00 Open snack - snacks are available all day; but we encourage the children to have a snack at this time.
We pride ourselves on the healthy and homemade menus we offer. We are dedicated to providing fresh, well balanced meals that not only look and taste great but provide lots of nourishment. We believe a healthy start with the right diet is vital to a child's well-being and long term health. Our snack and meal times are a social experience where independence and new skills are developed.
Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time. We understand our role in encouraging our children's development. We also understand and embrace the Government's Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which sets out the learning and development stages for children during this period.

Everybody has their own experience and in my family’s case, our’s was a terrible experience. The staff come across as miserable and looked as though they wanted to be anywhere else.
Nothing was ever clear, if you asked a question it was “umm, I’ll go check” and you would be stood waiting at the door, sometimes in terrible weather. My son once came home with defecation in his underpants and was very red and sore he was very upset when my wife changed him and cleaned him up. On another occasion, he came home with a bite mark and when my wife asked about that, the staff member seemed surprised

My Son attends this Nursery and we could not be happier with the care and education he receives. The manager and staff are all fantastic. They know him really well and I'm pretty sure he prefers being at nursery to being at home with us, he has that much fun.
Throughout covid they have remained a lifeline for our family. The Nursery Director was in the Nursery everyday, working with the staff and she has always been approachable and smiley.
Communication is great with the staff which is more important than ever. The Nursery is well organised and managed and its clear when you see the staff that

I don't usually post reviews on here as I feel they are very often not reliable and from questionable sources. I felt I needed to disagree with the most recent review however as it is slanderous and potentially very damaging to a local buisness doing their best in extremely difficult times. My son attends this nursery and he is happy, loved and well cared for. He often comes home mucky because he is bursting with stories of searching for the gruffalo, finding worms and making mud cakes! I find the team honest, caring and approachable and receive frequent updates and communication face to face,

We are very satisfied with the team of Honeybear in Gatley – we find them excellent across the board. Our son has been attending Honeybear for over a year and he really likes to go to the nursery, every single time. He likes all his carers and talks often about how he is playing with the other kids and how much he loves his carers. He has acquired many new skills at nursery, such as social skills, tidying up etc. The staff are always encouraging our son to be kind and they teach him how to interact with his peers in a positive way (e.g. sharing toys). Ahead of the arrival of his baby sister,

This nursery is not one I would recommend. They do not act on complaints pertaining to safeguarding and treat parents like they are a hindrance rather than as a valued customer or as a human being.
What is quite laughable is that these reviews for this setting are written by staff and family members of the owner none of them are factual. They are all fiction written as a marketing tactic. The owner is a very abrupt woman who never had the common decency to even say good morning. The staff knowledge is questionable and the communication is seriously lacking and requires a great deal of improvement
