Bollinbrook Pre-school
Bollinbrook Pre-school provides a balanced curriculum, offering children a wide and rich educational environment where playing and exploring, active learning and helping children create and think critically are seen as the foundations of learning. We are based in a purpose built unit on the grounds of Bollinbrook Church of England Primary School.

We have our own dedicated outdoor play area as well as access to woodland and extensive playing fields, ideal for lots of outdoor fun and learning! We provide a well resourced educational environment where playing, exploring, active learning and helping children create and think critically, provide the foundations of learning.
Services
At Bollinbrook Pre-school we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum that covers seven areas of learning for children from birth to the age of five. We place much emphasis on the development of all our children in these areas, as they provide the building blocks of learning for the other four areas, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
Once a week the children have a themed 45 minute Fizzytotz PE session, delivered by Ministry for Sport. There is an additional charge of 1.80 a week for these sessions, currently held on a Wednesday morning. The children learn lots of physical skills during these sessions, balancing, catching, throwing, running and jumping as well as links to other areas of learning as they count, learn colours and listen to instructions.
Bollinbrook Pre-school provides a very high-quality provision in which every child is supported to reach their full potential and we include all children in our provision. The support and nurture of children with special educational needs is one of our many strong points, something we are very proud of.
We have recently introduced a non-compulsory Pre-school uniform of a blue sweat shirt or cardigan with our caterpillar logo on. These are available from pre-school. Children can also wear grey jogging bottoms, a grey pinafore or skirt and a white polo shirt, available from many local supermarkets and uniform shops.
Children can start at Bollinbrook Pre-school as soon as they are two years old. We offer flexible sessions ranging from two hour afternoon sessions, three hour morning or afternoon sessions to six hour full days. We also offer the 15 and 30 hour funding for all children following the term they are three.
