AC Pilates is a friendly centre which aims to improve an individual's health and fitness through the use of Pilates inspired exercise. AC Pilates Studio which opened in 2008 is fully equipped. The studio includes a Reformer, a Trapeze-Table and a Combo Chair. Participants press or pull against resistant springs, which in turn, allow them to regain core control.
Pilates helps participants regain postural alignment and strength by engaging the deep core abdominals. It improves balance, lengthens muscles, releases tension and boosts the immune system. Anna is working with physiotherapists and GPs to help people who suffer from chronic joint pain and back problems.

Anna's passion for Pilates started many years ago whilst she was at dance school. Pilates was an integral part of her strength and core conditioning and prevented injuries. Now, after training for triathlons for 5 years and doing other sports, it has helped with her alignment and performance.
Anna's love of teaching stems from the satisfaction she gets from helping people so that they are pain free and feel better about themselves and their bodies.She enjoys seeing participants move better, stand taller and with ease after just a few sessions. Pilates is for everyone of all ages and people of all backgrounds.

AC Pilates Reading offers a full menu of Private, Semi-Privates, Trio Springboard/Spine Corrector classes, small group mat w/props classes and Duet Jumpboard classes located Theale, Reading. In a Studio Pilates class participants use the Pilates machines where by you pull and push against resistant springs to gain more core control and improve body alignment and efficiency of movement.
AC Pilates specialize in improving and strengthening postural imbalances with corrective exercises to boost performance and/or alleviate pain. I enjoy being able to offer a form of exercise that is low impact for those in need of flexibility and injury/pain rehabilitation. All Levels are welcome to my group Mat Pilates classes!.

I have a lower left facet joint 'problem'. Historically I have had the joint injected with anaesthetic twice and attended physio. I would be very uncomfortable on a daily basis and my lower back would cause me to be in pain when walking, sitting and doing daily activities. I take daily painkillers. My physio recommended I see Anna at AC Pilates and I have been attending for about 9 months now. The pain I felt on a daily basis has now diminished to a high degree, although Istill feel breakthrough pain on occasion. I can do activities that before would have left me feeling very uncomfortable ie.
