Hi there, my name's Luke. I'm a Pisces - apart from all the bad bits, obviously! For any fellow Myers-Briggs nerds out there, I'm also an INFJ. I've always felt fairly unconventional & quirky; a bit of a personal-growth junkie; a bit of a hippie at heart - although it took me a fair while to embrace it.

Earlier in 2021 I was ran over by a car and consequently I ended up spending more than 6 months in crutches. In that time I had put on a lot of weight and that is why as soon as I recovered I reached out to Luke/GymHippie.
Weight loss has been a constant part of my life and I am one of those people who have tried everything (Slimming World, Keto, Intermittent Fasting, gym classes etc.). All those efforts have always helped me reduce weight but only temporarily. This time I wanted something different, something more permanent.

I’ve been working with Luke for the last 4 months to achieve my health and fitness goals, and it’s been a very positive experience. I found Luke due to feeling in need of a lifestyle change and realised the main obstacle getting in the way of my fitness goals was my mindset. I needed someone to identify where I was going wrong, redirect me in more goal supportive ways and most importantly to hold me accountable. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted from a personal trainer when I contacted Luke. I knew I would need some accountability to help keep me on track with my goals, and Luke seemed like someone who was well matched to what I wanted.
He describes himself as more of a coach than a generic PT, and he has certainly Lived up to that.

I started working with Luke after a really challenging year that had left me emotionally and physically drained. I wasn't looking for a standard 'PT', I wanted someone who would support my holistic wellbeing as I got back on track with good exercise and nutrition. Luke is a great trainer who equips you with both the knowledge and training for fat loss and strength. I trained with Luke for a period of 3-6 months in the run up to a holiday abroad and I can’t fault him - I enjoyed every session..I definitely had to work hard and put 100% in but the end results were amazing and I was in great shape in no time. Luke is easy to talk to, down to earth and not your typical PT. Our conversations weren’t limited to… gym, lifting and diets...many a time we spent a session waffling about star signs...right up my street 😂 oh and he’s also a talented video / photo taker if you need a few gym shots for the gram. I thoroughly recommend Luke

Luke’s holistic approach to wellbeing is incredibly inspiring and he really gets you motivated for change. I had been going to the gym for many years before I started training with Luke and having plateaued in my workouts, he regenerated my training. When I saw Luke had a Christmas promotion on I had to take it! I had met him in the gym and was able to see how friendly and knowledgeable he is, exactly what I wanted from a personal trainer. He pushes you to learn and achieve in a supportive way, and I am now feeling much surer of my techniques and goals after even a very short time with him! I can’t recommend GymHippie enough :) Just go for it, you won’t regret it! I was very impressed with his client’s progress, so I decided to enrol in this adventure. He has in mind your goal and is very supportive in helping you reach it. Before this, I felt like I was plateauing in my workouts and he helped me overcome it. This was very important to me, with him I managed to stay more focused. The sessions are very hardcore, but I always felt amazing after them! I’m very happy with the end results :)))

I’ve started working out with Luke at the beginning of the year. He got recommended to me by my previous PT. I absolutely love working out with Luke. He’s very supportive and pushes me quite often to my absolute limits. I’ve been on a weight loss journey for the past 2 years and I’ve gotten my best results with Luke over the last 9months.
