Delivery guidelines will alter depending on what is required, but we will do our utmost to keep you informed. A lot of our customers have asked if this service is only being provided during the current uncertain times. The answer to this is 'no.' We have delivered to local hotels and restaurants along with private houses for the last 31 years so please be assured we will still continue to do so.

We rear our own cattle on our land at Brentor, pictured above, which are available to purchase periodically throughout the year. Contact us for details of breed availability. We are happy to reserve the required cuts for our customers. Please see our Cattle section for more photographs. The remainder of our meat is sourced from local farms and we strive to maintain the highest welfare of the animal at all times.
Services
We opened our first shop in Tavistock Pannier Market in 1989. We are third generation butchers who were born and bred in Brentor (about 4 miles outside of Tavistock) where some of our meat originates. We opened a second shop in Bere Alston in 2004 and then a third purpose built large display shop in Pepper Street in Tavistock which opened in 2010.
We cure our own gammon and bacon in our Bere Alston shop. We are also supplied by The Cornish Farmhouse Bacon Company at Whitstone. All of our bacon is dry cured. Please note: The price shown in the box on the individual product picture is for the smallest weight we supply for that product, not price per kg.

Placed an order at 8am this morning for meats. 3 hours later the can arrvied and my meat was delivered and the cuts are huge and look amazing. This is why shopping local is preferred to supermarkets.

What a find. A butcher that sells local, high quality meat. Their website describes where the meat comes from and how it is reared. Bought a shoulder of lamb and pork joint last week. Both were delicious and tasted like meat used to taste when I was a child.
We live in Plymouth and can benifit from free delivery. We shall never buy meat in a supermarket again. Oh! by the way, prices are not expensive and are comparative to most supermarkets.
