We are a small animal practice in Newbury, first established in 1989. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open seven days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.

We also offer free parking including disabled access for clients at the surgery. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.
Services
Our aim at Falkland Veterinary Clinic is to provide the best possible care for our patients and their owners. We achieve this through the skill and dedication of our team of vets, nurses and receptionists. A friendly, welcoming and approachable group of staff has always been a major feature of the practice.
Here at Falkland Veterinary Clinic, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. We are passionate about animal care. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At Falklands Veterinary Clinic we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01635 46565 and you will be advised what to do next. If you need urgent advice outside of our normal surgery hours, please call the surgery on 01635 46565 where you will be directed to our answering service. Vets Now and MiNightVet are our preferred emergency services partners for when we are closed.

I brought my in dog, who was very sick and is very nervous of everything including the vets. Alan was so patient with him and kind it helped settle him down so much during the consultation, the ladies on reception were also extremely helpful and understanding of the situation. Would not hesitate to recommend this vets.

As always, very helpful. We live in London now but still go to Newbury Falklands vets for a check ups and second opinion.

On having to have my cat put to sleep I found Falklands Vets very compassionate and caring. The care they gave to both my cat and to me was not only very professional but they understood my grief and treated me with great care and understanding.

Peter Woolley gave emergency treatment at 15 minutes’ notice to my parents’ dog on a bank holiday Sunday after she ate something poisonous - thank you very much Peter! We are so grateful. He was so lovely and calm when we were all so worried. Would highly recommend.
