Espinar Equine
Personal, professional and friendly independent mobile equine veterinarian covering Berkshire and surrounding counties. Providing a range of veterinary services for horses, Emiliano has a special interest in lameness and poor performance investigations and we offer the latest regenerative therapies.

We work with owners, riders and trainers through rehabilitation programmes to achieve the best results. In the commitment to continually self improve, Emiliano has been recognised as officially ISELP certified, successfully completing international education modules and passing a very rigorous exam.
Services
Emiliano graduated from Cordoba University in 1997. Following an externship at the University of Hannover in Germany, he moved to Ireland to taste the 'rural' mixed practice. He then moved to England where he had the opportunity to specialise in equine practice for four years before moving back home to Spain with his wife.
As an independent veterinary practice, we focus on the quality of our visits rather than the quantity! We care about our clients and keeping our client base selective provides you with a better, more personalised experience. We have a family-style approach, with continuity of care and friendly, helpful communication and unbiased advice based on your horse's individual needs.
We focus on equine lameness and performance and have years of expertise in lameness assessment. Sometimes horses show other symptoms and lameness may not first be recognised as the main reason for poor performance. With our keen interest and experience treating horses across a wide range of disciplines, we are well equipped to help.
We can perform pre-purchase examinations throughout the UK and abroad. Dr Espinar has knowledge of the equine industry; his over 20 years of experience and qualifications gives him an exceptional insight when assessing horses. A pre-purchase examination (or vetting as they are commonly known) involves examining the horse to determine its suitability for its intended use.
We are equipped with a multifrequency class 4 laser for the treatment of soft tissue injuries. This laser class is superior to cold laser widely used by other professionals/paraprofessionals. Class 4 lasers allow more depth of treatment within a shorter time. We have been trained to safely use the equipment and deliver the most optimal protocol for different conditions.
