We have a fabulous team of vets, nurses and support staff. We work in a spotless, well-equipped, modern clinic, set in beautiful grounds, and we're lucky to have plenty of customer parking. We provide a 24/7 on-site emergency service too, staffed by our own vets and nurses. We were the first clinic in Andover to be awarded Practice Standards accreditation by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Services
As a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standard accredited clinic, we are regularly inspected by the college. They've approved our clinic as high standard, with well trained staff and safe, modern equipment. We run our own 24 hour emergency service, which means you will always be seen by one of our vets on our premises, whatever the time of day or night you need us.
Responsible parasite treatment eliminates risks for your pet and people. The modern treatments we use offer an unbeatable combination of effectiveness, convenience and affordability. A microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted under the skin in the scruff by injection. If your pet goes missing, is brought in as a stray or is involved in an accident, we can read the chip number and contact you to tell you they've been found.
Providing an effective 24-hour emergency service is all part of the veterinary professions service. At Strathmore you will always be seen by one of our own vets and your pet will be cared for by our own nursing staff 24 hours a day. We hope you never have to use our out-of-hours service but we know that it is very worrying when your pet suddenly becomes ill or has been involved in an accident.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

I visited Strathmore as a new client for a routine examination and vaccinations for my cat. It is a lovely spacious and airy practice, extremely clean. The reception team were very welcoming making me feel at home. The vet was very friendly and I felt I was given all the time I needed to talk about my cat and what I wanted for her, and all my questions were answered fully. Thank you so much

The best veterinary clinic ever. Friendly helpful staff members that are always willing to go the extra mile. They guide you well through all procedures and have so much love and compassion for animals. Dr Matteo is the best vet I have ever had for my dogs. He is so caring and has amazing knowledge. All the dogs love him too and that makes all the difference. An amazing individual. I find no fault in Strathmore Veterinary Clinic and I highly recommend them to all.

My old cat had just given up and it was time to make a really tough decision but we received the best advice from the vet which made things a lot easier for us. All the staff and the vet were so kind to us as we were terrible upset. We said our goodbyes and my husband was able to be with him until he fell asleep in his arms. We have since received a lovely card from the veterinary clinic which was a lovely kind thought.
