We recommend booking a video e-consultation to discuss any concerns from the safety of your home in the first instance:. Larkmead offers a Sunday surgery at their Didcot branch. This surgery is at no extra cost to you, the consultation fee and all treatment costs are the same on Sundays as on any other day of the week.
Larkmead Vets is a large mixed practice, which provides veterinary care and advice to pet owners as well as the local farming and equine community. We have several branches across South Oxfordshire - Cholsey, Didcot, Harwell, Benson and Sutton Courtenay as well as a Farm Only branch near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.
Larkmead Vets has six practices: in Didcot (Park Road & Great Western Park), Cholsey, Benson, Sutton Courtenay and Fleet Marston*. The mixed practice at Cholsey provides a full range of services for pet, farm and equine clients. The pet practice at Cholsey has three consulting rooms and full operating and in-patient facilities.
Larkmead Veterinary Group Ltd is a large mixed practice which has been at the heart of the local farming and pet owning communities in South Oxfordshire for over 50 years. Larkmead Veterinary Group Ltd is a member of the Practice Standards Scheme of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and has achieved level two accreditation.

Excellent Veterinary Group that has looked after my several pets over the last 10+ years, from "cradle to grave". Their Larkmead plans make a lot of sense and help to ensure your pet's health is regularly maintained. Efficient and very helpful team, always ready for the unexpected. Excellent facilities (I have used Didcot and Cholsey). Highly recommended.

I took my cat marley in due for an emergency appointment. My Marley was very unwell and had to be put to sleep but the vets at the surgery were amazing, they made me feel so comfortable, there was no rush to say my goodbyes. Everything was explained to myself step by step what was going to happen. I stayed with marley till the end which did help. I collected my marleys ashes today and I was so overwhelmed by what they had done to make him feel special. I would highly recommend larkmead vets.

Fantastic service when our little cat (Gracie) broke her back leg.
Tim the surgeon who did the procedure was Kind.. Honest and inspired confidence.
Plus... This surgery seems to put the animals welfare before finance.... For what was done the price was considerably better than some quotations we had.

Larkmead vets took excellent care of my cat when he presented with a terminal illness, providing access to a range of specialists and diagnostic procedures. The end-of-life care was to an excellent standard and very compassionate.
Every staff member I've dealt with has been professional and helpful, will definitely be registering future pets with them!
