We aspire to inspire everyone, children and adults alike, to be the best that they can be. Our Christian values are at the core of everything we do and stand for. They shape and underpin the Christian ethos of the school. We aim to achieve our vision by living out these values, which are shared and owned by our whole school community.
We have an experienced, talented and dedicated team of teaching and support staff who all have a role to play in your child's education. In addition, we hold parent consultations when parents are invited to make an appointment to discuss their child's academic, spiritual, social and emotional development.
The first record of a school in North Luffenham is 1538 but the present school opened in 1969, replacing the Victorian schools of North Luffenham, South Luffenham and Morcott. The school takes its name from the churches in South Luffenham (St Mary's) and North Luffenham (St John's).

Built on the site of the old North Luffenham Hall, the school's grounds are distinctive in that they are bounded to the south by a ha-ha and enjoy wonderful views over the Chater Valley.Ha-ha walls typically form a boundary between an estate's gardens and grounds. These walls are constructed so as to be invisible from the house, ensuring a clear view across the estate.

My children have both had very good experiences at St Mary & St John Primary and are enthusiastic about going to school. They have been well supported in their learning and love their teachers! I am very grateful for having such a positive experience of school and education for them.
