St Brendan's Parish Playgroup
Here you will find photographs, children's work and news updates, which will hopefully give you an insight into life at our school. We hope that you will gain a flavour of what it is like to be a pupil at St Brendan's Catholic Primary School. St Brendan's is a Primary School, within St. Luke Academies Trust, for 4-11 year olds and our faith is at the centre of all aspects of school life.

Our school has a caring and friendly environment where every child is provided with opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence, enabling them to make a positive contribution towards society, now and in the future. St Brendan's is a happy school; we aim to create positive and supportive relationships between home, school, parish and the wider community to ensure the needs of all members of the school family are met.
Services
The new group of schools from Northampton, Corby, Kettering and Bedford consists of 9 Primary Schools and 2 Secondary Schools. Mr Tony Bishop, our Strategic Executive Lead, is leading a central OLICAT Schools Trust team with regional teams in Bedford, Corby and Northampton. Day to day life in our schools will show little change, for example, school names, places and uniforms remain the same.
St Brendan's is a Catholic Primary School where the message of Christ inspires the curriculum and all aspects of school life. To create a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment that supports each child in achieving their full potential, where expectations in achievement and personal relationships are high.
St Brendan's Parish Playgroup has been established since 1993, we are located inside St Brendan's Catholic Primary school site. We pride ourselves on our warm friendly approach and Children are our main motivators, we have a fresh and vibrant team and encourage all children to grow and develop through the experiences we provide, alongside the EYFS framework.
Did you know that each year the school receives extra funding from the government to provide additional support and educational experiences for children who come from lower income homes? This funding is called Pupil Premium and can help ensure all children have access to the same opportunities and activities.
