I am delighted and honoured to be the new Headteacher at Hawthorn Community Primary School. Our school sits in the very heart of our community and although it has 126 years of heritage, we have our eyes very firmly fixed on the future. The children at Hawthorn are at the heart of every decision we make.

Services
The members of our Governing Body are listed in this section of the website along with their contact details. The term of office is four years. Our primary purpose is to ensure the quality of education provision and to act as the accountable body for the school. Governors are ambitious for the school.
Places at Hawthorn CP School are allocated by North Northamptonshire County Council. All information and oversubscription criteria are detailed in the Pathfinder Schools admission policy below. The school aims to maintain a broad and balanced curriculum within the context of compliance to the National Curriculum (for children aged 5- 11 years) and the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 3-5 years.
Most of our communication with parents is done by email, text, or App message. Please ensure that you keep the school office informed of any any changes to your email address or mobile phone number. Weekly newsletters keep parents informed about school life, these are emailed, on the website or a paper copy is available by request.
At Hawthorn Primary School we believe all children deserve to experience success and all our staff are responsible for delivering this; we are all teachers of children with special needs. Through an inclusive and child centred culture along with a strong partnership between home and school, every child will achieve their potential.
All Children have access to Class Dojo for further learning and contact with their teacher. Parents/carers can link to their child's account to engage in their learning and also have contact with their teacher. Students will have a remote learning login, if you need a reminder, please contact your class teacher via Dojo.
