Mawsley Community Primary School
Entrants had to create a track using electronic music production software (GarageBand or WalkBand) in order to be in with a chance of winning. The winner was Jennifer in Year 3, who created a fantastic EDM track with a great bass drop! Our school opened in 2004 to serve the new Northamptonshire village of Mawsley.

Since that time, I have been delighted to work with children, parents, staff, governors, and members of the local community to see the school grow from 87 pupils to the current 335 on roll. We are pleased to be able to go the extra mile and provide our children with memorable learning experiences both in and out of school.

Since that time I have been delighted to work with children, parents, staff, governors and members of the local community and see the school grow from 87 pupils to the current 335 on roll. During that time our school family has had to work around the challenges of three major building projects to expand the school from seven to fourteen classes.

Following a successful consortium bid to the EU Erasmus + fund for international professional development, supported by Inspire Teaching Alliance, Mawsley School will be working with 10 local schools to take part in fully funded educational training and cultural visits to Italy, Sweden, The Netherlands and Spain over the next two years.
Friends of Mawsley School (FOMS) is a charity led by parents and supporters of the school who fundraise for the benefit of children attending Mawsley Community Primary School (registered charity number 1114936). FOMS is led by a committee who feel extremely lucky to work alongside dedicated parents to organise exciting events and support school activities.
We come from all walks of life. We are 'critical friends' of our school and are committed to working with our professional colleagues to improve the quality of our children's education and to help them become 'the best possible people they can be.' The school's values are our values. Please find below details of how our Governing Board is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment of each governor.
