Services
Children have the opportunity to earn House Points by demonstrating our school values, producing outstanding efforts and outcomes in their work as well as showing great manners. The house that earns the most points in a term will be eligible for a special prize! Parents/carers are a vital part of our Meadowside community.
Meadowside is a nurturing community primary school with a strong sense of pride and belonging. We believe that all pupils have the potential to thrive. We exist to cultivate a love of learning by broadening horizons and opening minds to new possibilities. Through our School Values, we grow confident individuals who aspire to shape the future.
Each school year, every class at Meadowside Primary holds a Junior Leadership Team (JLT) election. The election is open to all children. Candidates who select to put themselves forward for the election complete a manifesto. The manifesto is shared with the class to explain why they would be a good councillor before the class vote takes place.
We have a thriving Eco Action Team made up of pupils and teachers. A School governor also regularly attends our meetings, so they are well informed and aware of the strong "eco" ethos within school. Everyone in school gets involved in Eco events and fundraisers, and children understand the importance of eco matters.
Meadowside Primary School is committed to providing an appropriate and high quality education for all children, every teacher is a teacher of every child, including those pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We work to be a school in which people feel valued and where there is respect and consideration for the feelings and opinions of others.

This school is fantastic. Communication between teachers and parents is second to none. They're always there for any questions or queries. Response time to messages is very quick. The new headmaster is wonderful and is always on the playgrounds at the start of school for parents to speak to and to greet the children, and end of school he's always there to say goodbye to the children. A school that really does put it pupils first. Kind, caring and defiantly against bullying. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a placement. Your child will be in excellent hands.
