Engage & Inspire: Our pupils are inspired and motivated by the learning opportunities which have been created for them. Nurture & Growth: Everyone seeks to improve, develop and share; not because we are not good enough, but because we can all be even better!. Pride & Joy: We take pride in our achievements and this is evident in what we do and how we do it.
My excellent staff team has very high expectations of our pupils and we are very proud of their achievements, which prepare them exceptionally well for the future. Academically, our outcomes are consistently ranked in the top 20% of high performing schools nationally. We are, however, equally proud of our emphasis on our pupils' outstanding personal development including their behaviour, manners and attitudes.

Attendance at school is vital to a child's development. Every child has a right to education and in order to fulfil their personal potential and to ensure their academic and social wellbeing and success, they should attend school every day. Your child is expected to attend school 100% of the time unless there is a valid acceptable reason for their absence.
The school has a PAN (Published Admission Number) of 90. This means that we can admit up to 90 pupils in each year group, totalling 630 children in the school. There are seven year groups including Foundation. For the academic year 2018-2019 we admitted 120 children into our Foundation Stage (currently in Y3).
All vacancies are advertised here and on our Facebook page. Please follow us on Facebook for alerts for new vacancies. All applications must be submitted on the standard school application form. Full identification will be required including enhanced DBS disclosures. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The report from Ofsted was sent to parents with a letter from Mr Revell, our Principal, both of which are attached below. I am writing to notify you of the publication of our school's recent Ofsted inspection report. The 'four strong' inspector team carried out detailed reviews of five curriculum areas, which were selected by them.
We pride ourselves in how we work with children to involve them in their learning and play at school. As well as staff, governor and parent pledges, children worked closely on devising their own set of values, which they have pledged to uphold as part of The Malcolm Sargent Way. The pledges incorporate all the British Values about which we educate children, to ensure they grow into exemplary British citizens.
