Kings Cliffe Endowed Primary School
Here at King's Cliffe Endowed we strive to ensure that all our children grow a love for learning and experience success on a daily basis. We work hard to excite our children in their learning and every opportunity is taken to grasp the chance to be highly innovative, imaginative and inspirational.

Our aim is to create a positive learning experience for every individual, which challenges and encourages children to be self-assured in expressing their thoughts and question their learning. Our wish is for all children to become life-long learners by providing them with the skills and knowledge that enable them to be confident individuals, accomplished learners, reflective contributors and responsible citizens.
Services
King's Cliffe Endowed is a one form entry village school for children from Foundation to Year 6. We are situated in the village of King's Cliffe and serve six other nearby communities, such as, Apethorpe, Laxton, Wansford, Nassington, Stibbington and beyond, which means that each day 5% of our children are transported to school by dedicated school transport.
The story of our Endowed School goes back to 1688, when Richard Wildbore of KC left an endowment of 5 per annum to be paid to the Rector and the Overseers of the Poor specifically for them to appoint a suitable person to instruct in writing eight boys of the poorest parents in the Parish. The next part of the story is the founding of two Charity Schools in Bridge Street.
Admission arrangements for our school are determined by the current Northamptonshire County Council policy. Details in relation to applying for a place at our school, admission arrangements, any oversubscription criteria, requests for an in-year school placement and details on appeals for a school admission can be found at this weblink.
The Parent and Friends Association is a nationwide charity, which raises funds for our schools. We have our very own branch of this charity, and all the money we raise goes to our school. Of course, schools are already funded by government, but we all know that this is an over-stretched pot. The little extras that make school life more enjoyable for your child are the first things to disappear.
Each year our community Governor, Jim Gilbey, carries out a parent survey to assess how we are doing in the eyes of our parents. We are transparent in our publication of these surveys and use them to improve how we work with all our partners. As our community Governor Jim is always willing to listen to any concerns or suggestions you may have.
