The Pre-school is located in its own wooden log cabin within the grounds of the Colleton Primary School, on a site adjacent to the Twyford Children's Centre - Starlings. We are registered as a charity and managed by a voluntary committee. New members are always welcome to support the running of the pre-school.
As the end of the afternoon session time will coincide with the finish time at many other schools, we will open our doors for children to be collected from 3.05pm and we would ask that children at the Pre School are collected before children at other schools. When you register your child with us for a place on our waiting list, we ask for a 30 consumables fee, which covers all snacks and consumables during their first year at pre-school.

Services
Children attending after school club are provided with afternoon tea at 4.15pm. They are often involved with the preparation of their snack, helping to bake cakes, biscuits and pizza with the help of staff members. We have a 5 week rolling menu which is available on request: all days have a choice of chopped salads or vegetables.
Little Acorns runs from 8:45am - 3:15pm on weekdays, with extended hours clubs also available. As the end of the afternoon session coincides with the finish time of many other schools, we open our doors for collection from 3:05 pm. We ask that children be collected from preschool before other schools.
Are you interested in becoming a member of our team? We need people who can pretend to be a triceratops in the morning, take tea with the Queen in the afternoon and in between times sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle' and dance like a robot.

At Little Acorns, we value the contributions made by parents to the running of the preschool. See how you can get involved below. The Pre-school is managed by a committee of parents, elected annually at the November AGM. If you would like to join the committee and take on one of the many roles available, please contact the manager at office@littleacorns-twyford.co.uk.
