GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Armed with that simple philosophy, we began our 'journey' - a journey that would help us become a multi-academy trust (MAT) of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
School Strategy Board members (formerly Governors) are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards. The GLF Trust Board delegates certain functions to School Strategy Boards (SSBs), which form the local governance level within GLF schools.
