Are you looking for a school place for your child to start their learning journey? Then we would LOVE your child to join us and for you to become part of our Sandy Lane family. Sandy Lane was in Top 15% of Bracknell Forest Schools and Top 20% Nationally for EYFS (Reception age) outcomes in 2019. All of our Primary School admissions are managed by the School Admission Team at Bracknell Forest.
Our Nursery currently has 27 places - children are admitted the term after their third birthday. Please contact the school secretary on secretary@sandylanebracknell.com if you would like to inquire about how to apply for a place or arrange a visit to our setting.
We provide 15 hours free childcare for children aged 3 and 4. To check your eligibility for 30 hours funding for free childcare (15 funded hours plus 15 extended hours) - click Childcare choices for more information.If you are not eligible for extended hours funding but wish to pay for the additional 15 hours, you may do so - invoices are issued half termly and are payable in advance.

We would LOVE your child to come and join our Reception classes at the start of your Sandy Lane Primary School journey. We are very proud of our school - it's a place where your child will flourish and reach their full potential. All of our Primary School admissions are managed by the School Admission Team at Bracknell Forest.
We have a set of 'in case of an emergency' procedures. This is standard practice for organisations and particularly places where we have a duty of care to a large number of people. If we need to revert to procedures such as evacuation or lock down, then we will contact parents via the contact information that we have.

I started the school on the day it opened 63 years ago when I was eight years old. They were the happiest school days of my life and I cried for days when I had to leave to go to grammar school. The staff were wonderful and so encouraging. They really made learning exciting. Our headmaster was Mr. Pugsley at that time.
