Great Hollands Primary School
Why not book a space on one of our open events to find out more about what our GREAT school has to offer! Great Hollands Primary is a caring, vibrant and modern school in which we grow and learn together. We are ambitious for all of our children to succeed in everything they do, having made significant and impressive improvements over the past few years, we are proud of our successes in all areas.
Services
We are a vibrant school full of enthusiastic learners. Our children are at the heart of every decision we make; they motivate and inspire us each day to achieve endless possibilities. The opportunities the school provides for them are relevant to their needs, both now and for the future. As part of Maiden Erlegh Trust we reflect in all we do the trust values of opportunity, diversity and success for all.
At Great Hollands, our broad, planned and relevant curriculum brings learning to life through investigations and open-ended learning, providing an emphasis on both knowledge and skills to help our children develop a thirst for learning. Learning is carefully sequenced and linked across subjects, ensuring that over time our children both know and remember more.
At Great Hollands Primary School we take safeguarding and child protection issues very seriously. We believe that all those who come into contact with children and families in their everyday work have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Prior to employment all staff (paid or voluntary) are DBS checked for their suitability to work with children and young people.
Great Hollands Primary School is part of the Maiden Erlegh Trust and the Trust is the Admissions Authority. Parents residing in Bracknell Forest should apply to Bracknell Forest Borough Council. Parents residing in any other local authority should apply through their home local authority who will forward the application to Bracknell Forest.
Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time. Learning begins as soon as the children enter the classroom and a late arrival is disrupting for the whole class. All absences must be notified to the School Office by 8.30am. There is an answerphone facility where messages can be left to explain your child's absence.
