Our vision at Crazies Hill is that our 'fruit' will be children and adults who have the resilience to weather life's ups and downs, respect for themselves, others and their environment and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with all in their community. All our policies are written with this vision in mind.
Our school's curriculum is driven by our aim that the children from Crazies Hill CE Primary will go out into the world and make the world a better place. Our school is known for providing rich moral teaching through the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum. Our strong values are interwoven in all that we do.
Crazies Hill CE Primary School's vision is based on Mathew 12 verse 33-35, 'A tree is known by its fruit; people by their actions'. Our vision at Crazies Hill is that our 'fruit' are children and adults who have the resilience to weather life's ups and downs, respect for themselves, others and their environment and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with all in their community.
At Crazies Hill CE Primary School, we plan the learning using a thematic approach to the curriculum that is underpinned by the National Curriculum as the basis for content and expectations. The 'threshold concepts' pupils should understand by the end of each year supported by knowledge organisers. Subject-specific progression maps that detail how knowledge and skills are developed through the child's journey through the school.
The pupils will be given copies of the school's "Think then Click" rules for safe internet use and should be reminded of them every time they access the internet. The Home School Agreement will include an awareness of safe internet use and parents and children will be asked to sign, having discussed the agreement together.
