Finnygook Inn
The 'Finny' is known as a warm, friendly and atmospheric pub and restaurant. We have two areas - a cosy and lively bar area (roaring fire in the cooler months), low beams and plenty of old fashioned chat and laughter; In addition the restaurant area boasts amazing views of the Tamar valley and beyond, where we aim to serve restaurant quality food in a relaxed environment.

We've recently revamped our patio area too - again with amazing views - it's a lovely little sun trap when the Cornish summer kicks into action. If you wish to spend a few days exploring Cornwall we have recently refurbished modern en-suite rooms with beautiful views across the S.E. We think the best pubs are ones that serve amazing food and drink in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Services
The team at The Finnygook Inn are, without exception, a friendly and enthusiastic bunch. The Finny is run by Erika and Neil who have been here since 2014 - "We don't think a pub should be over complicated - we wholeheartedly believe that a great pub is made from a warm friendly and buzzing atmosphere, excellent food and drink and being the meeting point of the village and surrounding area."
All dishes at The Finnygook are properly home made by our skilled chefs - trying not to over-complicate things. You'll know what everything is - we let the flavours and freshness of the produce talk for themselves. You'll find classic pub meals intertwined with more innovative dishes. At the Finny we work hard on ensuring there's something for everyone on our menu.
Our aim is to provide all patrons with a warm welcome, cosy, comfortable bar for all to enjoy throughout the year. In the cooler months the central fire provides an alternate focus of attention in addition to the bar. We are a social group and enjoy company, however the Finny is blessed with ample space for individuals who wish to find their own private space, or romantic corner.
Our six Bed & breakfast rooms offer a wonderful place to get away from it all and to enjoy this beautiful forgotten corner of Cornwall. With excellent food, great beers and views to die for, we're suitably proud of our pub B&B. All rooms all come equipped with smart TVs, coffee machines, fridges and good water pressure!
The Finnygook Inn is an ideal place to relax, eat drink and be merry! Stay at the Finny in one of our light, modern rooms above the pub and enjoy glorious views of the tamar valley and Dartmoor in the distance. Situated in Crafthole, you are surrounded by the countryside with the Whitsand Bay Golf Course across the road and a short stroll down the hill to Portwrinkle and Finnygook beaches.

Stopped here for overnight stay whilst walking SW Coastpath, could not have been happier with our choice. Rooms are beautiful, immaculate, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, food was fantastic, just an all round lovely pub to stay. Cannot recommend it enough! We will be back!

Here for holidays and saw the great reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Had a lovely meal yesterday. Very friendly, very welcoming and managed to magic a banana for a delicious banana split, even though they had earlier apologetically explained they had run out. 😋😋 Thank you for being so lovely during these difficult times.
