In recent years Orsett Primary School has become purpose built to cater for the ever growing population of Orsett & Thurrock. Featuring 19th century architecture and 21st century teaching and facilities, our school is unique within Thurrock. Services
The Vine Schools Trust is a mutually supportive family of primary schools. Our Core Values are being outward facing, having a resilient Christian Character and providing Excellent Education for all. The Vine Schools Trust is committed to the development of effective collaboration with and between schools.
The Vine Schools Trust is a multi-academy trust and is the accountable body for all twenty three of its schools. Therefore, the overarching responsibility for the governance of the Trust and its schools lies with the Vine Board of Directors. Holding executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff; and.
At Orsett we have adopted a school uniform as we firmly believe that it fosters a feeling of belonging and encourages children to take a pride in their school. We are very grateful to parents for supporting the wearing of uniform. Our PE kit is changing for September. We are moving away from house coloured T-shirts to a standard blue sports top for all children with black bottoms (see below).
At Orsett CE Primary we aim to provide a wide variety of clubs for our children which will enrich their daily learning. The majority of these clubs are run voluntarily by the staff of our school but a few clubs are run either by our School's Sport Partnership coaches or outside providers. Clubs run by the staff or School's Sports Partnership are free but those run by outside providers are paid for directly to the provider.
