Bonnygate Primary School
Children learn about how the past has impacted the present and will successfully shape their future. I hope you enjoy looking through this website and discovering all about our school. Bonnygate is a friendly community school where the Osborne Cooperative Trust core values are upheld and every child is valued and nurtured.

I believe that every child will achieve their potential if they are happy, secure and have ownership of what they learn and the right learning conditions. The safety of children http://ceop.police.uk/, the quality of teaching and the emotional welfare of our pupils are my greatest priorities.
Services
Children learn about how the past has impacted the present and will successfully shape their future. It follows the National Curriculum guidelines for all subjects, enhancing and broadening them wherever possible, and building on a child's own knowledge in a way that he or she finds meaningful whilst developing their understanding of the world we live in.
At Bonnygate Primary we see the differences between people as enriching to society and something to be celebrated. We are committed to treating everyone fairly and hold any discrimination, bullying or exclusion of a person for any reason to be unacceptable. We are also working to overcome any barriers to learning that any particular groups may have and have a range of interventions in place for this purpose.
We are very lucky to have a very dedicated Board of Governors, who work extremely hard on behalf of the school. Each Governor is a volunteer and receives no payment for what can sometimes be a very demanding and difficult role. Many of our Governors are parents, who hold down a full time job as well as dealing with Governing Body business.
We are part of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust, with twelve member schools within the Essex area. The Trust provides support to each of its schools through a collaborative partnership. Their aim is to improve educational standards in the schools and the schools' local areas so that every pupil can reach their full potential.
This funding, which is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport has been allocated to primary school Headteachers to use to further develop PE and sports in their schools. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.
