At Engayne we aspire to give every pupil the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe, enjoyable and stimulating environment which prepares them for the ever changing world. Engayne Primary School is a local authority maintained school, catering for boys and girls aged from 4+ to 11+ years. It admits up to 90 pupils in every year and follows the local education authority's criteria for admissions to schools. Havering Council (the Local Authority) is the admission authority for all community schools in the London Borough of Havering.
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers. Child tax credit, provided that you are not also entitled to working tax credit and have an annual gross income of 16,190 or less.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Child protection is part of the safeguarding process. It focuses on protecting individual children identified as suffering or likely to suffer significant harm. We are committed to creating safe environments where our pupils can learn and thrive.
Breakfast club is operated by Engayne Primary School staff and runs from 07.45 until start of school. Pupils can attend for between 1 and 5 days per week, charged at 4 per day, payable half termly in advance. Due to staff/pupil ratios we cannot offer flexible attendance or ad-hoc days at short notice.
