Services
Beormund primary is a unique SEMH special needs setting that sits within the shadow of the Shard. All the children who attend our school are here because it was not possible to meet their needs in a mainstream setting. For some we may be their third or fourth school so our main aim is to reignite a love of learning.
To educate children to the best of their ability academically, emotionally, socially, morally, spiritually and aesthetically. To teach the National Curriculum and personalise learning to the needs of each individual. To build an awareness of both the local and global environment and adopt practices so that we can all contribute to the maintenance of a sustainable planet.
As a continued commitment to strategically developing Physical Education, School Sport and Health & Wellbeing in our school we work in partnership with the London PE & School Sport Network who are hosted at Bacon's College, Rotherhithe, Southwark. KS1 FUNS, real PE and Learning Nutrition training through positive partnership with Create Development.
Funding is allocated to schools for children from low-income families who are eligible for free school meals, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces. This funding is used to raise achievement for disadvantaged pupils. Children are given the creative space and use Art as a medium to address attachment and trauma that may be confusing and distressing.
At Beormund we take pride in making sure children feel safe and valued. It is the responsibility of all stakeholders to ensure that everyone is protected and feels safe. Adopting clear child protection guidelines through procedures and a code of conduct for staff and volunteers. Sharing information about child protection and good practice with children, parents and carers, staff and volunteers.

Maybe staff members should be banned from publishing reviews for schools they work for as it will obviously be biased.

Violent school.
My son has come home with bruises after "getting into fights with his school mates" many times.
Asked for a school report ...did not get it!
Run.
