All Souls C Of E Primary School
All Souls is a one form entry voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School in the heart of London's West End. We have around 200 pupils on roll from ages 3 to 11. The school is a vibrant, inclusive and creative school where excellence is celebrated. Our Christian ethos encourages responsible behaviour and respect for ourselves and others.

Our children are inspired to learn in a positive, stimulating environment, which encourages independence and self-belief in our happy, safe and supportive school. Our school serves this local community (and families that travel into central London for work or college). We are very proud of our beautiful Grade II listed building.
Services
I am pleased to welcome you to All Souls CofE School, whether you are a new family or have been with us for some time. We are so proud of our school and all the amazing things our children achieve. For the past four years our results have been consistently higher than average at all three Key Stages.
At All Souls we learn to be the best that we can be through the teachings of Jesus Christ and the stories told in the Bible. We learn the importance of faith and how faith is important in all religions. We are a multicultural and inclusive school. We serve children of Christian faith, other faiths and those of no faith.
Schools and teachers are a major influence on the developing values of children and young people. Children learn values at school from relationships; everyday classroom interactions from the examples set by adults; and, from more formal attempts led by teachers to engage in values education.

Meaning, ethics and vision must shape the practice of education and as a church school we have the responsibility to ground our values in the teachings of the Christian Faith. It is our Christian tradition which gives our values content and the stories we share with children the values' moral substance.
Governors are an integral part of the leadership of any school but understandably few people really know who we are or what we are meant to do. Our role includes helping the staff with strategic planning for the school and acting as 'critical friends' to help ensure we are making the most of the opportunities each child gets in the school.
All Church of England dioceses and the Methodist Church use the National Society's framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005. The principal objective of SIAMS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.
