We are a one-form entry, community primary school with a part-time nursery class. Our school is set in attractive grounds surrounded by mature trees close to the River Thames, Dukes Meadows and the historic Chiswick House. Services
Our compulsory school uniform is an important part of school life and we expect all children to come to school in the correct uniform items, ready to learn. Nearly all items are available from high street shops or supermarkets, with just our branded Cavendish school sweatshirt, polo shirt (choice of white or red) and PE top needing to be bought directly from our supplier via their online shop (see below).

Nearest Tube stations are either Turnham Green or Chiswick Park then E3 bus for Edensor Rd. By road we are situated at the junction of Edensor Rd and the A316 Great Chertsey Rd, opposite Chiswick Community School.

Our aim is for the children in our care to develop into confident, happy and socially well-adjusted young people with all the skills necessary to allow them to make a positive contribution to society.

Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
We believe that a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum promotes the highest standards and provides the basis through which all our learners can thrive and reach their academic, physical and aesthetic potential. We prioritise the social and emotional development of our pupils and exploit every opportunity to make meaningful cross-curricular links with the core areas of reading, writing and mathematics.
