My name is Tessa Hodgson and I am delighted to welcome you to the Oaklands Primary School website. If you have any other questions then please do not hesitate to contact us - or - if you are a parent/carer looking for a school for your child, come and join us on one of our regular tours on a Tuesday morning from 9am.
This was filmed on one morning so you can see what you would on one of our tours and get to know what Oaklands looks and feels like on an ordinary day. Please contact the office to arrange for a tour so that you can meet us and we can answer any questions you may have.

Services
At the heart of Oaklands Primary School are the values of respect for all, pride in ourselves and our school and the commitment to develop a love of learning. These values inspire everything that we do and ensure our children grow in to confident individuals with great aspirations for themselves, their futures and their communities.
Mr Liles is the Chair of the Governing Body. Whilst this role means he needs to ensure the school is keeping a keen eye on what the government expects of pupils' attainment and progress, he is passionate about ensuring that every pupil gets a rich and varied life experience at Oaklands so they are independent learners for the following stages of education.
The Pupil Premium is a funding route to support children who have a free school meal entitlement, are looked after or are vulnerable and need additional support. It is separate to Special Education Needs funding and support funding for children with English as an Additional Language (EAL). The principle we use at Oaklands is EQUALITY FOR ALL.
The government is providing additional funding of 150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in schools. The premium enables schools to ensure PE and Sport has a high profile, teachers are highly skilled and the provision offered by the school is of an outstanding quality.
Oaklands Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. The following extracts are from the London Borough of Ealing's Code of Conduct for Schools and the school's Child Protection Policy - both of which are available on request.

My daughter attended this school since reception (2008-2015) and she had a lovely experience there. It was really community-orientated and there were always various car boot sales and other such events. They were awarded an Eco award recently for their eco-friendliness, and they do loads of gardening and have a lovely garden area with a pond etc. It was just in general a lovely school and my daughter wished that she could've stayed there for longer
