St Saviour's C Of E Primary School
The aim of this website is to introduce you to St. Saviour's School, its philosophy, organisation and how we care for your child. The School is staffed by an enthusiastic body of teachers and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. There is a great feeling of warmth and friendliness at St. Saviour's, which is apparent immediately upon entering the building.
Services
It is committed to the provision of a healthy, safe and motivational learning environment where each person achieves, feels valued and secure and is able to reach their full potential through the promotion of high expectations and standards. The school is very closely linked with St. Saviour's Church on Warwick Avenue.
The daily act of Collective Worship at St Saviour's follows the requirements of the 1988 Education Reform Act. At St Saviour's, daily Collective Worship implies the recognition of a Deity and may be school or class based. To consider spiritual and moral issues which are of a wholly or mainly of a Christian character.
At St. Saviour's we understand the importance of Safeguarding and Child Protection, and have many initiatives to ensure that your children are safe and happy at school. To support this, we have a Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy which is available on the Policies page of this website. Sometimes, there may be a need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare.
At St Saviour's, we feel very strongly about Online Safety. It is both staff and parents responsibility to ensure that children are confident when using the Internet and aware of what steps to take if they come across something they find to be worrying, upsetting or of some concern. We need to make sure that children understand the importance of telling an adult, so we can help prevent them from accessing it again.
The Pupil Premium is an amount of money the government allocates to each school, to support all pupils to reach their potential. It is particularly aimed at pupils who may also be in receipt of free school meals (FSM). It includes pupils eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure - FSM6).

My children attended this school and watched more movies and TV then learned reading and writing... if you don’t trust me, just ask your children...
.... the head teacher rewards them with sweets telling them she does it because she loves them... interesting as sweets are not allowed in my house and I love my children.
Challenging the school is not allowed and if you do so, your children will get punished.
But as they say: everything is extraordinary, beautiful, marvelous.

I found the school quite challenging for me as a child as i was from a different background from the majority of my class and the whole school as well. The school can be great if you can "fit in" , most of my class did as their had only be five pupils in my class that came from a black British background . I also found some of the teachers could be quite racist at time and made my schooling harder by leaving me out of activities that other students were allowed to participate in . As for the head teacher i see her as the worst of them all. she refused to help me and when my parents complained about

St. Saviour's is a fabulous school with kind, considerate and fair teachers, from the Head to the kitchen staff. My son was well looked after and nurtured throughout his eight years. The care shown to him alongside the amazing level of education is second to none.

What a fantastic school. Both my children attend. Run by Ms Woodford and her capable and caring staff the children are in great hands, academically, socially, morally and spiritually. The children all care and look out for each other which is a great grounding for the young and offers them a safe and stable environment to live and learn. Not surprising that it is rated outstanding.

During my time at St Saviour' I have learnt a lot there. It is an amazing school where the teachers work so hard to provide the best education possible for the children that go there. It would be a very good school to send your child to if you want then to have a helpful, kind and considerate education.
