Services
I hope you will find that this site helps you to understand how John Perry works and what we are all about. I am the Head Teacher and I, together with my team, lead the school. John Perry is a three form entry school in Barking and Dagenham, which serves a culturally diverse community. We embrace community cohesion and work well to establish strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and families.
The concept of democracy is developed through our use of a Polling Day every September when pupils throughout the school vote for their House Captains and House Vice Captains. Pupils who wish to stand for these elected positions have to give a speech in front of their Houses to persuade children to vote for them in a secret ballot.
We hope you find the information below useful in helping you to understand, use and access Google Classroom, our online learning platform from Reception to Year 6. Google Classroom is a web-based learning environment. When logged into Google Classroom, students can collaborate with their peers and teachers.
At John Perry we think it is vital for our children to engage with a wide range of music, through listening, composing, singing, playing and exploring music through cultures, religion and periods of time. We think Music should be explored through the act of making and listening to music as well as art, drama and story.
Alongside their experiences at home and with families, nursery is the beginning of a child's lifelong learning journey, and what an exciting place to start! In nursery, the children explore and learn through play every second of the day. They learn to share and take turns and to be kind to each other.

Think some of this school teachers are very discriminating, with bullying attitudes and stereotypical, pick on my grand son all the times and treat him inferior

Very good school. Headteacher always takes matters quickly and deals with situations very fast. My children love it there!
