Valence Primary School
We recognise the commitment of parents, staff and governors in developing a positive partnership. Our children will be able to learn together, achieve together and belong together and will be well prepared to meet the challenges of an ever changing world. Keep up to date with news from across both sites and upcoming events with our monthly newsletters.

Please see the downloads below for our current Risk Assessment & Plan for Remote Learning. Details regarding Brentwood County High School's upcoming School Tours, Coffee Mornings and Open Evening can be found in the PDF's below. Keep up the good work. This commended FREE course is available online for ALL parents and carers in Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge!
Services
Our School meals are cooked on the premises. A cooked meal is available to each child or if they prefer, they may bring a packed lunch from home. As we are a healthy school, we do not allow children to bring fruit juice or fizzy drinks of any kind with their packed lunch. Water and milk are provided for every child at lunchtime.
For PE children should wear a white T-shirt, dark shorts and plain black plimsolls/trainers (for Foundation Stage and KS1 children no lace-ups please). Plain dark joggers are an optional extra. Each child will need a labelled bag to hold their PE kit. This may be kept in school except when it needs to be washed.
Pupils take significant responsibility for running the committee (the level of responsibility expected depends on the age and ability of the pupils involved). The Eco-Committee has completed an Environmental Review covering the Eco-Schools nine topics and green procurement policy topics. Results of the review have been discussed by the Eco-Committee and communicated with the whole school.
Our personalised curriculum focuses on building communication, interaction and independence. These are the building blocks for our children to secure their foundations before they move onto their next setting. Parents' priorities for their child are important and we consider these within our curriculum.
Did you know that we're registered with easyfundraising and you could help us to raise funds for the school at no extra cost to yourself? Since our fundraising events are on hold, this is a great opportunity to keep raising much-needed funds for the school. When you shop online, with over 4,100 of your favourite retailers, including, Amazon, eBay and Argos, you will raise FREE donations for Valence Primary School.
