We aspire to teach the children to have respect for religious and moral values and to have respect for other races, religions and ways of life. We actively encourage the children to celebrate difference. St Alban's Catholic Primary School aims to provide the highest possible standard of education across the curriculum.

We wish to foster our pupils' relationship with God and with others in order to be capable of reaching their full potential as responsible and caring adults. We believe that children who enjoy their learning remain curious, focused and aspire to achieve their very best. Staff support every child's social and emotional development and have high expectations of behaviour.
Services
St Alban's Catholic Primary School was built in 1972. It was founded by the Verona Fathers who invited the religious Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary to teach in the school. It is situated in the London Borough of Havering and is under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Brentwood. The school provides for the education of children between the ages of 4 and 11.
Our Mission Statement is brief so that everyone remembers it. At St Alban's we aim to grow and develop in the Catholic faith following the example of Christ. We believe that every child matters and that one of the greatest gifts that you can give to a child is the opportunity to be the best they can be.
The Gospel Values are our touchstone. Each class starts and ends the day in prayer, which is either led by the teacher or a child. Also, before and after lunch, we give thanks to God. Mass is celebrated in school or at St Alban's church on our Patronal Feast Day and special occasions. Class assemblies take place during the year which all are invited to attend.

Schools are required to provide for the spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development of their pupils. As part of this requirement, we are expected to actively promote fundamental British values. Our efforts to promote fundamental British values are designed to prepare children for life in modern Britain.

I have to say I only wish my son had gone to this school earlier rather than later this is such an excellent school the teachers are amazing and so caring towards the pupils, during lockdown they made sure they kept in contact with my son on a regular basis to see how he’s getting on and also seeing how the parents are getting on during the pandemic, even though he wasn’t there for long I’m sad that he has to leave. Before he went to St. Albans we use to drive past there and he always said I wish I went to that school then god finally answered our prayers and he got a place just sad he has

I had an amazing experience at St Albans. The school environment was very nurturing and I felt very comfortable at the school. The teachers helped to facilitate and cater for children of different academic abilities. They were also available beyond the academic aspect of school; providing great emotional support.
