On behalf of myself, the staff, governors and pupils, can I warmly welcome you to our school website. We are a mainstream primary school committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all the children in our care. We aim to provide a lively, creative curriculum to challenge and motivate our pupils and enable them to participate in a range of high quality learning opportunities.

The schools excellent facilities enhance the quality of our children's education. We have recently extended our building and increased our outdoor facilities further, this has enhanced the opportunities that we can provide our children (although we are always seeking to make them even better). However our greatest resource is our skilled and dedicated staff who work tirelessly to provide the best teaching and learning experience for each child.

The DfE have recently reinforced the need:-"to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs." Democracy is embedded at the school.
As the Chair of Governors for Easington Lane Primary School I would like to welcome you to our website. Our role as governors is to provide a strategic lead and critical friendship to the school to ensure that there is a consistently high provision of quality education at the school. Setting vision, ethos and strategic direction, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring statutory duties are met.
Many of our School Policies are available below for download. If there is a policy, not yet published online which you would like to view, please ask at the School Office. We will be pleased to assist you. Paper copies of all the documentation on this site can be made available upon request, free of charge.
Pupil premium is a sum of money the school receives for each student who is either in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) or who has been in receipt of them in the past. Nationally, the statistics show that students who are in receipt of FSM do less well than their peers in external exams. The aim of this money is to try to close that attainment gap.
The government in England has been providing funding of 150 million per annum since 2013 to provide additional primary school sport funding. This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments of Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and is intended to improve the quality of physical education and sport for all children.

Went massively downhill in the last few years, more worried about money than giving kids a good education, bullying is overlooked. Shame to see what was a good school be allowed to degrade like this.
