Services
For all other children, teaching and learning will be carried out online until further notice in accordance with UK Government and Local Authority guidelines. You can view and download a PDF copy of the school's latest Contingency Plan by clicking the heading above. Key information for parents about remote education provision can be found by clicking the heading above.
What should my child expect from immediate remote education in the first day or two of pupils being sent home?. In the first instance, your child will be set learning tasks to complete using our online resources including White Rose Maths, TT Rockstars, Spelling Shed etc. They will also be directed to online lessons or video resources, which may include Oak National Academy or BBC Bitesize.
Our job, in partnership with parents and carers, is to build the foundations for a successful education, to enable each child to discover the joy of learning, to help them to fulfil every aspect of their potential and to encourage their growth into effective and responsible citizens, ready to play their part in the world and their community.
A key school improvement focus for us is on further developing and extending our progress and attainment in writing throughout the whole school, which will build on the developments that we started in 2018. Our vision at Oxspring is one of achieving pleasure and confidence, as well as quality in writing.
As part of our positive behaviour policy, the children take part in Oxspring University sessions at the end of each week. Every member of staff in school, along with a group of volunteers, delivers a wide range of skills activities which the children sign up for. Over a period of 4 weeks the children develop their skills in a particular aspect, before moving onto a new set of sessions.

I have been apart of the Oxspring school community for seven years and have met some incredible, committed, warm teachers and parents.....my eldest is about to venture into the daunting world of secondary school, Oxspring have furnished him with resilience and compassion, to always be open to differences and strive to fulfill their own potential as well as help other to do the same.
My youngest is school age next year and i feel proud and privileged that he will be attending Oxspring.
