Prince Edward Primary School
You can e-mail us at enquiries@princeedward.sheffield.sch.uk. Our named contact in the school office is Chloe Winter. She can direct any enquiry to the right person. You can use this email and the school's main telephone number to speak to one of our SENDCos: Mrs Briggs and Mrs Wells. Our school, like most in the country, is only open for children that are vulnerable and the children of our Key Workers.

Our staff are making sure they are keeping in touch with all our families regularly. You can always contact us though. All our families eligible for FSM will soon be receiving vouchers like they did in the summer. We are currently waiting for the Local Authority and the Government to launch this. Each family will receive 15 per child each week.
Services
If your child attends the Full Time Session then the start and end times are still the same. Maskk (Manor After School Kids Klub) is a small charity that provides services and activities for families and children that are based on playwork values and principles, with a spirit of partnership.

More details can be found here and many of our families take MASKK up on their offer, especially if parents are working and can't pick their children up after school.
At Prince Edward Primary School, we are committed to ensuring pupils receive a high quality education. At the heart of our school are a set of core values that underpin our whole curriculum and school life so that our pupils leave us as happy, secure, caring and responsible citizens.

We believe that our core school values of respect, cooperation, pride, determination, perseverance, honesty, kindness, fairness and aspiration and the British values are not mutually exclusive. The acknowledgment that all people are to be valued regardless of beliefs, background or ethnic origin is reflected in our Equality Statement and rooted in our SMSC policy.
The school accommodates 1,480 children in a Senior Mixed Department (520 places), and two Junior Mixed Departments (each with 480 places). In addition, rooms are provided for Manual Instruction, Domestic Science, General Science, and Arts and Crafts. The school is planned in three detached departments linked up to the Central Assembly Hall by covered ways.

The government introduced universal free school meals for pupils in these year groups. The government recognises the importance of good food and good nutrition to help improve concentration and energy levels, which can help pupils get through a busy school day, so they are also introducing nutritional standards.
