I hope it gives a flavour of the incredibly special place that it is and you are able see the irresistible learning that is happening in every classroom! At Jump Primary School, within a strong family culture, our vision is to support our children in their journey to becoming happy, safe and confident learners who believe in themselves.

We want our children to achieve their potential through appropriate levels of challenge and support within an academic curriculum that is broad, has depth and develops resilience. Within a culture that has language skills at the heart, we aim for our children to become critical thinkers who can communicate in an articulate manner; we want our children to know their rights and their responsibilities.

Our aims in History are to help children develop a sense of identity through learning about the history and people of Britain, Europe and the rest of the world. They should realise what is involved in understanding and interpreting the past and develop an understanding of chronology, continuity and change, similarities and difference, cause and effect.
Mrs Hartley teaches in our Nursery. She enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys art and singing and works very hard to make sure all of our nursery children have the best start to their school life. Miss Cooper works alongside Mrs Bradley and teaches Reception on a Thursday and a Friday.
Mrs Beard is our Business Manager and deals with our finances and all things Health and Safety. Mrs Wilcock is our clerical assistant. She works extremely hard to ensure the day to day running of our school. She helps to organise trips, makes sure we are all at school on time and that we all order our dinners.
We would like to introduce you to Mrs Saunders, our Parent Support Advisor. Her role is to support you as parents/carers to help you and your children gain as much as possible from their school life. Parenting isn't an easy job and at times things can get tough - finances are often stretched to the limit and problem behaviour can be really upsetting.
During the first week back at school in September, each class holds an election to choose their new school council and eco-council members for the year. We have lots of exciting projects to complete so keep looking for details of our meetings and recent photographs of our achievements on our school blog pages.
