Hoylandswaine Primary School
At Hoylandswaine Primary School we aim to create an environment which is stable, caring and stimulating for your child. We expect each child to develop to their full potential in every way during the time spent within our school and work hard to deliver a personalised, educational, social and emotional programme to ensure we meet the needs of every child.

It is our belief that to achieve the best education for your child then a partnership between parents, pupils and staff is essential. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in the life of the school, and their support is welcome at all times.
Services
Hoylandswaine Primary is a small rural school that works hand-in-hand with families playing an integral part in the local community and ensuring our children grow up as responsible citizens of the 21st century developing respect for everyone and everything. We ensure the environment is safe, healthy and inclusive and free from prejudice and discrimination where all feel valued and supported.
My name is Mr Bond and I have been the Deputy Headteacher at Hoylandswaine Primary School for the last six years. During this time I have taught throughout Key Stage 2 and have experience of teaching in Key Stage 1. I have worked in education for twenty years and held various roles within primary and middle schools.
At Hoylandswaine Primary School we provide opportunities for children to develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations who know how to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider society. There is a strong focus on developing children's moral, spiritual, social and cultural understanding.
We will be keeping our Jotter Learn link available if required for home learning over the coming academic year. A number of parents have asked about how they can save money on not printing out all the work that has been set. The simplest way is to download the worksheet to your device and use the pen tool.
Financial Education for our pupils means understanding the origin, concept and value of money and knowing how to apply this in the real world with the skills to manage their money effectively now and in the future. Throughout our curriculum, the children are provided with opportunities to identify, discuss and research finance.
