Services
In History, we follow the National Curriculum programmes of study. As a school, we build on Literacy and Maths skills taught throughout their time in primary school. Wherever possible, we link learning throughout the curriculum to a theme or a class novel. At Milefield, we are keen to provide our children with a range of experiences to help them understand what life was like in the past.

Mrs Trickett, our Acting Headteacher is the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) for our school, Deputy DSLs are: Mr McClure, Maths leader, Mrs Underhay, Attendance officer, Miss Jones and EYFS leader, Miss Till. They attend training every two years to ensure that the school adheres to all school safeguarding procedures and policies.

If you do not give permission for your child's photographs to be online, please speak to a member of office staff/ Leyan Jones (Attendance officer) or make it clear on the data collection sheets handed out at the start of every year.You may also speak to a member of staff or make an appointment to speak to a member of SLT.
