History, at Cheadle Heath Primary School, forms an integral part of the creative curriculum. We believe the study of history inspires children's curiosity, encourages them to ask critical questions and enables them to have a better understanding of the society in which they live and that of the wider world.
My name is Mrs Harrison-Watkins and I am the Key Stage 2 phase leader and English lead throughout the school. I love teaching Year 5 & 6 and enjoy teaching all subjects but if I had to pick a favourite it would be English as I love books! Outside school I enjoy cooking, cross stitch, crochet and love my adopted cats Tilly, Snow, Pebbles, Comet, Lunar, Nebular, Willow and Nova!
I am Mrs. Ralph and I teach Y5 and 6 alongside Miss Harrison and Mr Cleverley. I teach all of the children in Y5 Maths. I am very excited for the children to continue to discover all of the wonderful things that make Year 5 /6 special!
As Maths lead at Cheadle Heath, I am looking forward to planning and teaching exciting Maths lessons for all of the children in Year 5. I am also very excited to explore our Y5/ 6 topics for this academic year, which will be: Tudors, Space, The Maya and Around the World. If you have any questions or concerns they may have, so feel free to see me after school if ever you do need to talk.

My name is Miss Millican and I work alongside Mrs Harrison-Watkins and Mrs Ralph in teaching the Year 5/6 children at Cheadle Heath Primary. I am always happy to speak to parents or carers regarding any questions or concerns they may have, so feel free to see me after school if ever you do need to talk.
We are both experienced teachers, who have previously taught in Key Stage One and Two. Mrs Murphy teaches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. Miss Shelmerdine teaches on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We both love teaching through the school's creative curriculum and immersing children in a topic.
