During a typical class you will be taken through all ranges of movement and, as you develop, you will be continually challenged with new exercises, new apparatus and new experiences. From private lessons to build your foundation, classes to 'flow and go' and small group studio sessions to work on specific goals.

Classes held on-line and at the studio. I hope to inspire you to love Pilates as much as I do! My community is warm, welcoming and always evolving to inspire the best in one another. Whether you're taking lessons with me in-studio or online, you'll feel empowered and stand taller after every lesson.
Services
I was originally a weaver, I designed fabrics for interiors, it took patience, persistence and a lot of looking at fine detail.and of course creativity. It may seem like a completely different path I started upon in 2001 when I took my first class, but it really isn't. To create a beautifully designed fabric or to practise Controlgy (Pilates) you must look at the detail.
From Pre Pilates to introduce you to the fundamentals, take a beginners six week course, or challenge yourself with a selection of classical flow classes. Gentle Classes for seniors and those who are osteoporotic. Pilates courses for golfers and athletes looking to improve their game. Take a stretch and release class with some mindful stress relieving movements.
Cant get to the studio? You can now practise Pilates from my space to yours, either take a video from my library or join a Live Zoom class. Pilates is adaptable for everyone. I have classes from pre Pilates tutorials to introduce you to the principles, or take a complete six week beginners classical course or take challenge with an array of Flow and Go classes to choose from.

I have been practising Pilates with Jen for over a year. She has to be one of most inspiring Pilates teacher that I have met. Her passion for the Pilates method is deep rooted and comes across in every single one of her lessons. My personal practice has come on so much in the time that I have worked with her and I am so much more confident in my movement. Jen's classes are always challenging but not that I feel uncomfortable. The classes are attended by some wonderful people and I think that this reflects the compassionate and warm person that Jen is. IPilates is a fantastic studio with a class to suit every age and ability. Jen is a knowledgable and patient teacher who made me feel instantly relaxed. I have struggled, for years, with pain from an old back injury and have tried mat pilates and yoga, in the past, with painful results. I was recommended Jen, by a friend, and it has been a revelation. After a few one-on-one lessons on the reformer, during which she explained why I was experiencing pain, she helped me to move and stretch in a way that has improved my flexibility and helped to relieve the discomfort. I've been practising Pilates in London and Hertfordshire for 17 years and Jen is the best teacher I've ever had! She is so knowledgeable and passionate and has a natural flair for passing that on to her students. I have become so much stronger and flexible since working with Jen and Pilates has become such a big part of my life that I wouldn't be without now. Thank you for this gift Jen :)

Jen is a great teacher, she is caring and very knowledgable. She takes the time to understand what each individual is capable of and is constantly checking that we are doing things correctly. The studio is bright and very well equipped with lovely views of the golf course and trees. There are many opportunities for different levels of class but all have a limited number of participants so that Jen can give everyone attention.

I have been going to Jen's classes for a few years now and can honestly say that I couldn't be without them. Jen and her team know their craft and ensure that all clients are working the movements precisely and within their capability but pushing the limits too. I started at iPilates at the same time as starting running (quite late in life) and attribute a large part of my ability to run a marathon in my 50th year down to the flexibility and core strength I have gained since attending iPilates classes. Highly recommended.

Every session with Jen is carefully thought out and professionally presented. Jen’s instructions are clear and precise and she checks meticulously that we are performing the movements correctly for maximum effectiveness and safety. She creates a warm and caring atmosphere, making us all feel valued as individuals. I really enjoy what we do and would recommend Jen and I Pilates.

Jen is a wealth of knowledge and compassion rolled into one! Following a serious injury I worked with Jen 1-1 to regain strength and learn my limits to help prevent future injury. I have a long way still to go on my journey but am now in small group classes which have helped to build on the 1-1 work. These classes are now on Zoom thanks to COVID19 but the care and attention to correct position etc remain the same as in a face to face class! Highly recommend Jen for any level of Pilates.

Excellent small group sessions with personalised attention and plenty of encouragement throughout for even the most reluctant of practitioners. Jen plans her sessions thoroughly, modelling all exercises clearly and takes great care to include a variety of equipment and options so that the core pilates exercises never become boring.

Having done Pilates for years I can honestly say that Jen is the best teacher I've ever come across. It is rare to find a class that is challenging to everyone and contrasting each and every week with very knowledgable and professional instruction. I love these classes!

Jen is an excellent Pilates instructor in both private lessons and classes. She is highly qualified and passionate about her work. She strikes great balance between inspiring others with her commitment to health, well being and sport but is also inclusive and welcoming of all levels. The classes are challenging but fun and I enjoy the sociable environment that Jen has created at her studio. I would highly recommend Jen for private or class based tuition at any level.

Have been going to Jen's studio for over three years. Classes are small, the studio welcoming and Jen is an excellent teacher. I still don't find it easy but Jen is so encouraging (sometimes with a virtual whip!) and enthusiastic and I always feel so much better at the end of the class. I have osteoporosis which has improved considerably since it was diagnosed and Pilates has definitely been an important part of this improvement. Sorry Jen I know I moan and groan sometimes (especially when it is 'rings week') but I will still be coming to class!
