While we're social distancing it's an ideal way of getting colleagues or friends together remotely to keep fit. Here at Macksfitness Ltd we are passionate about health and fitness! We have helped hundreds of clients achieve their own personal goals, as diverse as losing 3 stone in weight in just over 6 weeks for a life changing operation, to training to visit the Antarctic!

Personal Training can be undertaken for a wide variety of reasons, from looking to lose weight for an upcoming wedding, an improvement in fitness levels. Here are a few Testimonials from PT clients, including the incredible story of how Jim H got his Beret! When it became apparent that I really needed a fitness programme I was a bit concerned. Being a gymaphobic and exercise class quitter the best option, I felt, was to have a personal trainer. Having met Andy at a Pilates class he was running and liking his methods of teaching we arranged for a course of sessions with him.
I have only been doing Pilates with Andy for a few weeks and have already noticed improvements in my core strength and overall flexibility. Classes are a bit of a giggle too, which is an added bonus. I've now started doing some practice in between classes, using Andy's online videos which is helping to increase my confidence (and memory) through a sequence of movements.
My name's Jo and I want to let you know about an amazing person I've known just over 3 years. I've had many gym memberships over the years, and hated every single one, every class has left me uninspired, bored and still overweight. Then I saw an advert in a local freebie paper for a Pilates class, went along to see what was what and met Andy McNeil.
We decided to create a members section as so many clients were asking for some form of online support, so here we are. In this Pilates section you will find all the basic set up positions, reminders on neutral pelvis, engaging your core and some choice workouts! All of us struggle with niggly injuries or inflexibility.
In this section you will find pictures demonstrating all the stretches needed for major muscle groups. There are also short films on how to treat specific injuries or conditions, such as Tennis elbow or Climbers elbow. Use this section to enhance and enrich your training and allow you to take your fitness to the next level!

This guy isn’t fit at all - clearly likes his booze since he’s got a big gut. Classes are good but I’d prefer someone who actually works out more than I do.

I've been going to a corporate boxercise class for a few years now and my fitness is at its best! Andy is a great trainer. He works us all hard but it's always fun. He tailors the exercises to what you want or need and I am toned and ready for my wedding! Keep up the good work Andy.

Thoroughly enjoyed these classes with Andy as a personal trainer - he definitely pushed me to my limits and within a few weeks already started to see real progress. I would definitely recommend!

Andy is a fantastic trainer. He helped me get over long term injuries and get back into exercise after some operations. He's patient, kind and extremely motivating. The best part of the classes is the banter and the feeling of accomplishment when I manage to do things I've never done before.

Simply the best trainer I have ever encountered. Andy coached me from a couch potato to runner bean over 2 years, including my first competitive 10k. Since then I have gone from strength to strength. Naturally at times as your priorities change, fitness may take a back seat, but Andy seems to adapt accordingly, meaning it is never far away! On top of that PT and group sessions are fun.
