Farnham Dene Medical Practice
Please be aware that we are experiencing unprecedented levels of demand at the moment and despite our best efforts, we are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with this demand. Our waiting time now for a non-urgent appointment is around 3 weeks. If you feel you need to contact us, please consider if there are other avenues that may give you a quicker answer.

However should you have a medical concern that requires a more urgent response out of hours, please contact NHS 111. Our Online Consultation service will let you request advice, treatment, sick notes, GP letters, recent test results and more. Flu can be more dangerous if you are over 65, have an existing health problem, are pregnant, a carer, or children under 4. Get your flu vaccination straight away.

I am a long standing (30+ years) patient of this Practice. Never found wanting. Great local health provider. Dr W has, in particular, been fantastic and extremely professional.

I have such respect for this surgery. I wasn't well for over two years and I didn't know. My dad spoke to my GP, who sent me for a CT scan, and a brain tumor was found. The following day I was admitted to St Georges for an emergency operation. The GP contributed to saving my life and continue to support me. Thank you X

I agree that reception can be a bit abrupt sometime however I am giving a 5 star review. The doctors, nurses and support staff at the practice are fantastic and work really hard to provide the best service possible. My family and I have been at the practice for over 10 years and I cannot fault the care we have received.

Reception staff and the Practice Manager at Lower Bourne are both abrupt, rude and unhelpful. Farnham Hospital clinic staff are only marginally better. Impossible to get a face to face appointment with a Doctor at either site in last 18 months. How do they identify cancer symptoms early without seeing people face to face for examinations?
When trying to use their online booking, it typically suggests going to an NHS emergency dept. And they wonder why the hospitals are overwhelmed. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
Thankfully the Nurse is still administering injections and is caring and enthusiastic

Only use south farnham branch , decent nice people
But if you want an aggressive nasty experience go to the hospital one, not great for a blood pressure test!

Continuously employ intransigent receptionists. Turn you away when couple of mins late for jab appointment. Irony was early for appointment just at wrong practice. Farnham practice say go to Lower Bourne they will understand.........

Don’t even deserve a star. Waited 16 days so far and not even spoken to me. Fob you off with an askmygp website and then promise to call within 10 days. Can’t even stick to that. Either find a GO that actually cares or go to a&e as you will most likely be dead by the time Farnham dene call

The reason we left our previous GP practice after 40yrs was because we couldn't get appointments and the GPs constantly fobbed us off.
FDMP looked promising at first. However, like others we are now unable to get an appointment. We're constantly directed to Integrated Care or AE (yes, AE, even for relatively minor issues). Were all aware of the covid situation but many of us feel that's just an excuse for FDMP now....
