We request your co-operation in this by confirming with reception that you know who your named GP is. We believe this will help us to provide continuity of care for better health outcomes and more satisfied patients. If your named GP is not available on a particular day, or whilst you are waiting for your appointment, helpful advice can also be found at www.patient.co.uk.
If you are unable to attend for your appointment please remember to cancel using the Online Services, or ring in plenty of time so that another patient can be given that slot. Annually, we lose a number of appointments through patients failing to attend the surgery. This helps to avoid wasting appointments other patients could have used.
Patients on long term medication may, with the doctor's agreement, be able to obtain repeat prescriptions without seeing a doctor. Find out how to register. Prescription requests cannot be taken over the phone, so please be careful not to run out of your medications. We ask for a minimum of 2 working days for the repeat prescription request to be processed.
We are pleased to announce we are now offering EPS (Electronic Prescription Services) to our patients. This is a service where by your requested prescriptions can be sent electronically to a Pharmacy of your choice for collection directly from there without a requirement to come into the Surgery. This means you can choose a Pharmacy of your choice near home or work whatever best suits your own convenience.
The practice operates a number of specialist clinics for Diabetes, Asthma, Mother & Baby Checks, Phlebotomy, Minor Operations and Family Planning services. Please ask at reception for further times and minor surgery dates, or when you have an appointment with a healthcare professional for more information.

Rude receptionist made my girlfriend cry. Been trying to book our babies 6 weeks vaccinations since December, but apparently the practice can't offer anything until February.
Rude staff, ridiculous wait times. I've changed my GP, but unfortunately my girlfriend is still registered and our baby is stuck with her practice until we can get her moved. Avoid at all costs.

My Wife had to call TWENETY SEVEN times to arrange an appointment recently because NO-ONE answers the phone!!
Appointments can ONLY be made on day of appointment, not in advance but how is this possible if no-one answers? You want us to take pressure off A&E services, then force us there becasue local doctor surgery is incapable of managing appointments.
Utterly disgusting management.

Are you ever picking up the phone? Calling at 8am for two days in a row to have an appointment for a 5 years old and the line is busy. I hold records of calling every minute for the first hour, and nothing happens.
Then later, the day is fully booked and i need to try again next day. It is pathetic. Being at this surgery is a matter of praying for good health, leaving every illness' outcome to God.

I'm writing this review to warn others. I am new to the area, 20 weeks pregnant and have just been reduced to tears by the receptionist. I popped in today to register, I had completed all of the necessary forms and brought some proof of address. The receptionists first response was not warm or welcoming but she immediately asked me if I had brought my passport, this question was asked with the expectation that i was going to say no, almost like it was a game to her. I have just read all the reviews. I was with this practice for 20 years before moving away and never had any of the troubles that some reviews are saying. I have only just moved away so I haven't been gone long. There have been many changes over the years but the practice has always looked after me well and I have been very unwell these past ten years. I miss the support I got and hope that he Practice continues there pathway of excellent service. I think sometimes the attitude of patients can sour a receptionist as constant irritating patients who think they have the right to demand is very tiring

Filled in forms to register at the practice on Thursday 08/08/19 and was advised if I needed to make an appointment to ring back tomorrow morning @ 8am.
I did this and was told that it takes 48hrs to process me onto the system and to ring back on Monday. I couldn't do this due to my shift work and ended up going online and filling out a lengthy form for a Econsultation on Monday 19th, 11 days after handing in my forms to register. This morning I received an email from Econsult saying I'm not registered at the GP and to register.
When I rang the GP surgery she asked for my date of birth and then
